Centrally place inside a dense forest, the adobe of Lord Shiva at an altitude of more than 1500 Meters. The temple is the most sacred holy sanctum of Rishikesh for the devotees of Lord Shiva. It is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva drank the most vicious poison that emerged from the prehistoric Hindu mythology event, the monumental holy Ocean Churn.
