Valley of Flowers can be reached by vehicle, till Govind Ghat. Ghangaria can be approached by trekking about 10 Kilometers from Govind Ghat or by helicopter. An alternative to both is to hire a cab to travel an intermediatory distance of about 3-4 Kilometers & then trek towards Ghangaria. The trail is of moderate difficulty but the landscape, terrain & backdrop to admire is therapeutic to tired feet. Once you reach Ghangaria, much require rest can be enjoyed along with some water & minimal availability of food options. Valley Of Flowers & Hemkund Saheb shares a common trek up to few Kilometers from Ghangaria. Langars along the regular path serve excellent food & nourishment to energies worn out legs. Crossing an altitude of about 3300 Meters, you are greeted with the eye-catching innumerable august freshwater falls.


The trek towards the spot after the diversion of Hemkund Saheb is excelled with a gradual but sustained acceleration of scenic beauty. Following six kilometres path from Ghangaria is a reception of lavish & lush green nature's carpet alongside illimitable kaleidoscopic vibrant florets & flowers. Beauty at its best, no man had ever created the words which could describe the magnificence glimpse of Valley Of Flowers. The single stare at the luxuriant is every worth the exhaustion to withstand.


With an altitude range of 3350 to 3650 Meters, the place is preserved under the umbrella of Nanda Devi National Park. Habited by countless species of birds, alongside the most majestic animal in the world, the snow leopard, Valley Of Flowers encapsulates every attribute of a dream tour.

Elderly, differently-abled, asthmatics & heart patients may void the visit as it requires physical exertion

Wear comfortable trek clothing & footwear

The spot is at an isolated location, carry ample food & water

Binoculars would come in handy.
